Our story
Hi! I'm Viki Csávás from Hungary, residing in Tordas, which is a lovely place close to Budapest. I share my life with my two border collies (Suvi & Taru) and work as a dog trainer.
Dogs, teaching dogs and just spending time with them has been a part of my life since I was a kid. Our first dog was Ananász, a black labrador, my parents got her when I was 22. I wanted to start doing agility for years by then, and finally our journey with Ananász has begun in 2006. She was amazingly talented in this sport, I owe a lot to her; learning basics of agility, we were frequent participants of seminars and competitions both at home and abroad. Between 2009 and 2011 we were members of the Hungarian AWC team - I am most proud of our last results where the Hungarian large team was 6th. Check out our 2011 runs in the video below! :)

SUVI has arrived to me in the beginning of 2010 - I was waiting for her for a long long time. Many-many thanks to Marco Giavoni for this fantastic dog! She is a dream came true. She's the perfect border collie for me.
My second border collie is Taru, she is Suvi's daughter from her first litter. On one hand she is really similar to Suvi, especially in her high drive and craziness, but on the other hand she is completely different.
„Lucky Summer” kennel was born in 2012. The name of the kennel is a mixture of my dogs' names.
Lucky because Lucky was THE DOG in my life - he was a rescue dog from a shelter. He was my first own dog who lived with me. I've learnt a lot about dog psychology thanks to him. He definitely wasn't an easy dog in the beginning, he had serious separation anxiety issues likely because of his past. I could deal with it after all with lots of patience, giving him time and rules. He became the best dog I've ever had, he was my soulmate. I'd been doing agility with him too and reached A3 class, but it wasn't his sport. He did it just because of me. Learning tricks with a clicker is what he really loved. In May 2012 he passed away really suddenly by cancer, he was only 7 years old. I will never forget my special friend, in my heart he lives forever.
...and Summer, because one of Suvi's kennel names is Summer, and the name Suvi means summer in Finnish.
My main goal is to breed high quality dogs that have a good temper and a stable character (both in work and in normal, everyday family life), that are healthy and might be successful in sports (especially in agility). I prefer dogs who are strong in personality (but not hard headed) and tireless in work. Socialization from the very beginning is really important for me, so these are the most important things for me during the upbringing of the puppies: lots of playing, getting them to experience different materials and surfaces, various noises and situations.
We're waiting for people who as potential future owners could be able to give them the active lifestyle which they need. By the time the puppies move to their new owners, they get worming treatments several times, along with the necessary vaccinations and an international passport. Keeping in touch with the owners is really important to me also.
