From the beginning my concept was to choose another male to be the father of Suvi's next litter so that I can look at both of her litters and see which one I prefer more (maybe for repetition). Choosing a stud dog was easier and faster than the first one. :o) My choice was Yeremy of Magic Border's.
The reasons...
When I've seen Yeremy for the first time, I really liked him, but after the Amadeus World Cup, I was totally falling in love with him. And I knew her sister, Yana, because she's living in Hungary - so she was a good reference for me too. I contacted Sissy (Yey's owner) to ask her to tell me more about Yeremy. And he was just like how I imagined: he has really cool head and uses his brain to focus on his handler. He's taller than average, but has a really flexible body and jumping is more comfortable for him and probably this is what gives him his amazing speed too.
As Sissy wrote me:
"Yeremy is also a great worker. He is always keen on working...no matter what, he WANTS to work with you and for you. Yey is a very sensitive dog... He doesn't need any strong word to behave in a correct way or to get his attention.
Second reason to handle him soft is because if not he isn't satisfied with his work. He is so ambitious to make good job and he is so happy if he gets to know that he is doing well that I love to reward him even if the exercise wasn't perfect. If you use stronger word he doesn't stop working and he doesn't slow down at all...no! Working with him is really fun, he learns really fast and is focused on what he is doing till end of work.
In every day life he is easy going. Really no problems. He calms down when we are at home, has no problems staying at new places (hotels)... With other dogs: never any problems...even with male ones. Yey doesn't want any fight, very gentle dog."
