Beck's Hill Havanna Summer - "Suvi"

A little description about Suvi's character (as I see it):
Suvi has a really strong character. When she was younger I always said she had a terrier mind which means she was really independent and headstrong, but not in work, only in everyday life. Fortunately by time it has changed, living with her now is so easy. Usually she ignores other dogs, focuses only on me and the training. But when she (rarely) finds a dog who she likes, then she plays with him/her in a really nice way. She is really friendly with people, doesn't show any sign of fear or any other negative attitude. Sometimes she's even too friendly - she's happy to work with anybody who has a ball :o)
At home Suvi is calm, usually lying down or sleeping until we don't go out for a walk. Training, working and playing are her favorite amusements. During work Suvi is the most motivated dog that I've ever seen. She has high drive, I really love working with her. She is ready for work anytime, anywhere. She can spin around herself very quickly and that's why it can be hard to handle her on the agility field. There is no time for overthinking or making a mistake during a run. If you are not in the right place at the right time, the run will possibly be over, running with her is always a challenge. When I started competing with her it was pretty hard, she was totally out of her mind, going crazy, so I had to start working on that and we have successfully made progress in this issue, she is now focused on me and wants to cooperate, not just looking for her own fun. Calm handling is key for her.
You can check out her work via videos on my youtube channel.
All in all she is my dream dog! Her attitude in work and in everyday life is just perfect for me. She needs to be controlled, but it's not impossible :o))
